What is Kisspeptin-10?
Kisspeptin-10 is the C-terminal decapeptide of the KISS1 gene product, the short fragment that still binds the kisspeptin receptor KISS1R, also called GPR54.[2]
Tetrava Labs sells kisspeptin-10 as a lyophilized reagent with its other research peptides, for hypothalamic and HPG-axis laboratory work only. Buy kisspeptin-10 here when the assay needs a documented KISS1R ligand, not a clinic product. Research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption.
Kisspeptin-10 Peptide Research
How kisspeptin-10 acts at KISS1R
Kisspeptin neurons sit in the hypothalamus and hold a gate on GnRH release. The receptor on those circuits is KISS1R (GPR54). Seminara and colleagues showed that loss-of-function GPR54 mutations disrupt puberty and leave the HPG axis quiet, which is how the receptor earned its place as a puberty regulator.[2]
Kisspeptin-10 is the ten-residue C-terminal piece used in a lot of in-vitro receptor work. It is not the same molecule as kisspeptin-54, the longer circulating form that shows up in many human infusion papers. Same receptor family. Different length, different pharmacokinetics. Do not paste kp-54 exposure data onto a kp-10 vial.

Kisspeptin-10 is not sex-specific, and kp-10 is not kp-54
Is kisspeptin for men or women is the wrong split. KISS1R is a hypothalamic receptor in both sexes.[2] The ligand does not become a male product or a female product because a search query added those words.
Kisspeptin-10 for men and does kisspeptin increase estrogen in men are outcome questions this page will not answer. Tetrava does not claim testosterone or estrogen results for this reagent. Dhillo's human work used kisspeptin-54, not the catalog decapeptide, and even that paper is a supervised endocrine study.[1]
What Dhillo 2005 measured, and what it did not
Dhillo, Chaudhri, Patterson, and colleagues infused kisspeptin-54 in healthy men and reported stimulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, with LH as the main gonadotropin signal.[1] That is a kp-54 paper. The catalog item on this page is kisspeptin-10.
The two fragments share a C-terminal receptor-binding stretch. They do not share clearance, exposure, or a published PK package you can swap. Use Dhillo to justify a KISS1R / HPG-axis question. Do not treat it as identity or potency data for the decapeptide in the vial.

Kisspeptin-10 vs gonadorelin in HPG-axis assays
Kisspeptin-10 and gonadorelin sit on different rungs. Kisspeptin-10 binds KISS1R on GnRH neurons. Gonadorelin is GnRH itself and binds the pituitary GnRH receptor.
A lab that wants an upstream hypothalamic ligand should not substitute a pituitary GnRH analogue and call it the same arm. Write the receptor into the protocol, then pick the vial. Kisspeptin-10 for sale on this page is the KISS1R reagent, not a gonadorelin alias.
Kisspeptin-10 for sale
Buy kisspeptin-10 the same way you buy any short neuropeptide: lot, identity, then price. Tetrava lists 5 mg and 10 mg lyophilized vials. Identity for the decapeptide, not a generic kisspeptin peak. Lot on the vial has to match the Certificate of Analysis.

Storage and lot notes
Kisspeptin-10 ships lyophilized. Store sealed vials at -20 C. Record diluent lot, concentration, date, and operator against the batch COA.
